Bring light, colour and the ancient symbology of sacred guardian deities into your home with one of these beautiful light catcher doorways.

One-of-a-kind, hand crafted light catcher god and goddess depicting the two house guardians of the mythical moon calendar at Talliston. Choose between:

Lady Midsummer

Goddess of the Summer Solstice on 21 June (Talliston’s first day of summer) and the Feast Day of Midsummer on 1 August (Talliston’s Midsummer’s Day).

Lord Midwinter

God of the Winter Solstice on 21 December (Talliston’s first day of winter) and the Feast Day of Midwinter on 1 February (Talliston’s Midwinter’s Day).

Each piece is cut and painted with black enamel, then the design is scratched off. Kiln fired at 650 ˚C to make the designs permanent and weatherproof, then piece is then copper foiled and soldered. The blackened patina is applied and scrubbed to an antique gunmetal finish. Each light catcher is hung from copper wire and topped with a glass bead.
